Machine Learning Engineer, New Grad

About the role

A new-grad role on the demand forecasting team. You would be paired with a senior engineer for the first six months and would own a forecasting model by the end of the first year.

What you will do

Build and evaluate demand forecasting models for store-level inventory
Work with time series data, including the seasonality and promotion effects that make it hard
Write production Python that other people maintain
Present forecast quality to merchandising teams

What we look for

Degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated ability
Solid fundamentals — we interview on them heavily
Some exposure to time series
Evidence you can finish something and write about it
